Dragon Armor’s 1/72 scale range has scored a couple of hits with model collectors via the release of its superb miniature 1/4-Ton Trucks.

Some 640,000 of these little utility vehicles served the Allies from 1941-45 in all theaters of war. Powered by a 60hp 4-cylinder engine,

the 1/4-Ton Truck was a mere 3.33m long, yet it remained remarkably agile over rough terrain such as beaches, deserts, hills and mud.

Dragon Armor’s first offering (Item No.60505) of perhaps the most iconic military vehicle of all time, the Willys MB, sold out quickly.

The second 1/72 scale release (Item No. 60506) was the “Truck, 1/4-Ton, 4x4” mounting a .50-cal machine gun on a rear pedestal mount,

and it too was hugely popular.

Now Dragon Armor has launched yet another version of the 1/4-Ton 4x4 Truck, this time featuring a .30-cal machine gun on the rear pedestal mount.

As before, the set features two complete model vehicles inside. The pedestal mount is finely detailed, and the weapons come ready to fire with their associated .

30-cal ammo boxes. It isn’t easy making such a diminutive vehicle in this scale, but these Dragon Armor vehicles are rich in detail. Utilizing Dragon’s newest technological innovations,

the vehicles are reproduced with a sophisticated degree of detail. Each vehicle bears different US Army unit markings, and even the tiny tire pressure markings are in place. Fully built-up,

pre-painted and authentically weathered, these two 4x4 vehicles bristle with detail. Collectors now have even more choice as they can elect to install a .30-cal machine gun on their vehicles!
